Introduction

VibeTrack ("we", "our", or "us") provides fitness, ride tracking, route recording, and territory capture features. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how users can control it.

Data We Collect

  • Account information: email address, username, profile details, and authentication identifiers.
  • Location data: precise GPS location, route points, distance, pace, ride/session timestamps, and territory cells captured during an active tracking session.
  • Background location data: when you start a ride or movement tracking session, VibeTrack continues collecting location while the app is in the background, the screen is locked, or the app is not visible, so your route, distance, pace, and territory capture remain accurate.
  • Activity and content data: ride statistics, posts, photos you choose to upload, leaderboard data, and app interactions.
  • Device and notification data: device identifiers, push notification tokens, platform information, and app diagnostics.

How We Use Location Data

Location access is used to provide core VibeTrack features: GPS ride tracking, route recording, distance and pace calculation, territory capture, map display, and activity history. Background location is used only after you choose to start an active tracking session. A foreground notification is shown while tracking is active. Location tracking stops when you stop, discard, or finish the ride/session.

How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to operate VibeTrack, provide user-requested tracking features, show activity history, calculate territory and leaderboard progress, send notifications, maintain account security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, maps, and push notification providers. Public profile, leaderboard, post, and activity information may be visible to other users depending on app features and your actions.

Your Choices

You can control location permissions in your device settings. If you deny location permission, ride tracking, route recording, and territory capture may not work. You can stop active tracking at any time in the app. You can request account deletion from the app or website.

Data Retention

We keep account, activity, route, and territory data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
